Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever stands in prayer during Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and in hope of reward will have his past sins forgiven."Affan said, Abban narrated to us from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not anticipate Ramadan by fasting a day or two before it, except for a man who has a regular fast, let him fast it."
قال وقال رسول الله ﷺ من قام ليلة القدر إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه قال عفان وحدثنا أبان في هذا الإسناد مثله
Bukhari narrated it, and Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasai, and Suyuti narrated it in Jami Saghir, and he indicated that it was sahih.
