Bukhari, Muslim, and Nasai narrated it from Jabir. Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, and Nasai also narrated it from Abu Hurairah. Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi narrated it from Samura. Nasai narrated it from Zayd bin Thabit and from Ibn Abbas. Suyuti indicated in Jami Saghir that the hadith is sahih.
