He said, Hammad narrated to us, saying, I heard Thabit report from Abu Rafi from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The fasting person has two moments of joy, a joy in this world when he breaks his fast, and a joy in the hereafter."

Suyuti narrated part of a hadith in Jami Saghir, "The fasting person has two joys that he rejoices in, when he breaks his fast he rejoices in his breaking it, and when he meets his Lord he rejoices in his fasting." Bukhari, Muslim, and Nasai narrated it from Abu Hurairah, and Suyuti indicated that it is sahih.
