Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels of the night and the angels of the day meet at the Fajr prayer and the Asr prayer. When the angels of the day ascend, Allah asks them, 'Where have you come from?'They reply, 'We have come to You from Your servants. We came to them while they were praying, and we left them while they were praying.'Then when the angels of the night ascend, Allah asks them, 'Where have you come from?'They reply, 'We have come to You from Your servants. We came to them while they were praying, and we left them while they were praying.'"

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال يجتمع ملائكة الليل وملائكة النهار عند صلاة الفجر وصلاة العصر فإذا عرجت ملائكة النهار قال الله عز وجل لهم من أين جئتم فيقولون جئناك من عند عبادك أتيناهم وهم يصلون وجئناك وهم يصلون فإذا عرجت ملائكة الليل قال الله عز وجل لهم من أين جئتم قالوا جئناك من عند عبادك أتيناهم وهم يصلون وجئناك وهم يصلون
