The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most untruthful of speech. Do not spy on one another, do not eavesdrop on one another, do not hate one another, do not turn your backs on one another, and do not compete against one another. Be servants of Allah, brothers to each other."
Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, and Tirmidhi narrated it from Abu Hurairah, as did Malik, and Suyuti in Jami Saghir, and he indicated it was sahih.
