The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of the men's rows is the first, and the worst is the last. The best of the women's rows is the last, and the worst is the first."
حدثنا يونس حدثنا ليث عن محمد بن عجلان عن أبيه
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال خير صفوف الرجال أولها وشرها آخرها وخير صفوف النساء آخرها وشرها أولها
Narrated by Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasai, and Ibn Majah on the authority of Abu Hurairah, and by Tabarani on the authority of Abu Umama and Ibn Abbas. Suyuti indicated in Jami Saghir that it is sahih.
