The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Lands and cities will be conquered, and Some men will say to their brothers, 'Come to the fertile countryside.' Yet Madinah is better for them, if only they knew. No one endures its hardship and severity without my being a witness or an intercessor for him on the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا يونس وسريج قالا حدثنا فليح عن سعيد بن عبيد بن السباق
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال تفتح البلاد والأمصار فيقول الرجال لإخوانهم هلموا إلى الريف والمدينة خير لهم لو كانوا يعلمون لا يصبر على لأوائها وشدتها أحد إلا كنت له يوم القيامة شهيدا أو شفيعا
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Al-Lawa means hardship. Al-Amsar is the plural of misr, meaning a city. Al-Rif is land that has crops and fertility, and its plural is aryaf.
