Abu Hurairah reported,
A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Set prices for us."He replied, "Allah 
is the One who raises and lowers prices. I hope to meet Allah with no one holding a grievance against me for any wrong."

Its chain of transmission is sahih. Al-madhlamah (with fatha) refers to what is claimed from the wrongdoer, being the term for what he has taken. It is also called al-midhlamah (with kasra). What is stated in Al-Qamus is that the form with fatha is a verbal noun, while the form with kasra denotes what has been wrongfully taken from him.
