The Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved a good omen and disliked pessimistic superstition.
حدثنا محمد بن بشر حدثنا محمد بن عمرو حدثنا أبو سلمة
كان رسول الله ﷺ يحب الفأل الحسن ويكره الطيرة
Its isnad is sahih. Other reports have been narrated regarding good omens and bad omens, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ explained the good omen as being the good word.From Anas, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no contagion and no bad omens, and I am pleased by the good omen." They said, "What is the good omen?" He said, "A good word." Agreed upon.
