The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The sun was never held back for any human being except for Yusha, during the nights he marched toward Jerusalem."
حدثنا أسود بن عامر أخبرنا أبو بكر عن هشام عن ابن سيرين
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الشمس لم تحبس لبشر إلا ليوشع ليالي سار إلى بيت المقدس
Aswad bin Amir, Shazan, narrated from Hisham bin Hassan and Kamil bin Abu Ala, and Darimi, Harith bin Abu Usama, and Ahmad narrated from him. He died in the year 208. Abu Hatim graded him thiqah, saying, "Truthful and righteous." Ibn Madini also graded him thiqah. Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Thiqat.
