The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave me some dates, which I placed in a basket of ours and hung from the ceiling of the house. We kept eating from it, and the last of it was taken by the people of Sham when they raided Madinah.

أعطاني رسول الله ﷺ شيئا من تمر فجعلته في مكتل لنا فعلقناه في سقف البيت فلم نزل نأكل منه حتى كان آخره أصابه أهل الشام حيث أغاروا على المدينة

Ismail bin Muslim, a Basran, who resided in Makkah, narrated from Hasan and Shaybi. Muharibi, Ansari, and a group narrated from him. They declared him daif and abandoned his narrations.
