Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave counsel to Salman al-Khayr, saying, "The Prophet of Allah wishes to grant you words by which you may petition the Most Merciful, turn to Him in longing, and call upon Him by night and by day."He said, "Say, O Allah, I ask You for soundness of faith, faith joined with noble character, success followed by prosperity, mercy from You, well-being, forgiveness from You, and Your good pleasure."Ubayy said, "These are recorded in the book as elevated phrases, 'followed by prosperity, mercy from You, well-being, forgiveness from You, and good pleasure.'"

أن رسول الله ﷺ أوصى سلمان الخير قال إن نبي الله عليه السلام يريد أن يمنحك كلمات تسألهن الرحمن ترغب إليه فيهن وتدعو بهن بالليل والنهار قال اللهم إني أسألك صحة إيمان وإيمانا في خلق حسن ونجاحا يتبعه فلاح يعني ورحمة منك وعافية ومغفرة منك ورضوانا قال أبي وهن مرفوعة في الكتاب يتبعه فلاح ورحمة منك وعافية ومغفرة منك ورضوان
