The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every child of Adam is touched by Satan with his finger at the moment of birth, except Mary and her son."
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم عن ابن أبي ذئب عن عجلان
قال رسول الله ﷺ كل مولود يولد من بني آدم يمسه الشيطان بإصبعه إلا مريم وابنها
Its isnad is sahih. Ajlan is the Madinan client of Mushmail, see 7866. Bukhari reported it in the tafsir from Abdullah bin Muhammad, and in the hadiths of the prophets from Abu Yaman. Muslim reported it in the hadiths of the prophets from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, and in [the chapter on] divine decree from Hajib bin Walid and from Zuhayr. Abu Dawud reported it in the Sunnah from Qanabi, and Tirmidhi reported it in [the chapter on] divine decree from Muhammad bin Yahya. Imam Malik reported it in the Muwatta in the funerals [chapter] from Abu Zinad.
