The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angel of death came to Musa and said to him, 'Answer your Lord.'Musa struck the angel of death in the eye and put it out.The angel returned to Allah
and said, "You sent me to a servant of Yours who does not want to die, and he has put out my eye."So Allah restored his eye and said, "Go back to My servant and ask him, 'Is it life you want? If you want life, then place your hand on the back of a bull. For every hair that your hand covers, you will live a year.'"Musa asked, "And then what?"The angel replied, "Then you die."Musa said, "Then let it be now, and soon. My Lord, bring me a stone's throw from the holy land."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By Allah, if I were there with him, I would show you his grave beside the road, by the red sand dune."

This is also sahih, and it is in the individual manuscript under number 59. Muslim narrated it [7:99-100 / 2:225 Bulaq] through the route of the manuscript. Bukhari did not record its wording through that route, but rather narrated it, with similar meaning, [4:157 / 6:315-316 Fath] from the narration of Abdul-Razzaq, from Mamar, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, worded as a stopped report, then he said, He (meaning Abdul-Razzaq) said, "Mamar informed us, from Hammam, who said, 'Abu Hurairah narrated to us from the Prophet ﷺ' with similar meaning."The narration of Abdul-Razzaq from Mamar from Ibn Tawus has passed under number 7134, where we detailed its sourcing and pointed to this instance there. We also explained it in full detail there.
