The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one. Whoever counts them will enter Paradise. He is One, and He loves what is odd in number."
وقال رسول الله ﷺ ذروني ما تركتكم فإنما أهلك الذين من قبلكم بسؤالهم واختلافهم على أنبيائهم فإذا نهيتكم عن شيء فاجتنبوه وإذا أمرتكم بأمر فأتمروا ما استطعتم
This is sahih due to the authenticity of the manuscript, and it is in the individual manuscript, numbered 31. Muslim related it [7:92-91 S / 221:2 Bulaq], through the route of the manuscript among other chains, but he did not give the wording in full, referring it back to what preceded it. Ibn Hibban related it in his Sahih, numbered 20 [in our edition], through its route. Malik related it, in Muwatta Muhammad bin Hasan, page 406, from Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, and Bukhari related it [13:219-221 Fath], through the route of Malik, and did not relate it through the route of the manuscript. Here the Hafiz explained it thoroughly. It has already passed at 7492 through the route of the Araj copy, and it also passed at 7361 by another route. Ibn Hibban likewise related it at 17, 18, 19, with chains. See also the tafsir of Tabari, 1234.His saying, "for it only destroys," is with the hamza vowelized with damma, in the passive construction.
