The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Who will take from me five qualities and act upon them, or teach them to someone who will act upon them?"I said, "I will, Messenger of Allah."So he took my hand and counted them out on it, then said, "Avoid what is forbidden and you will be the most devoted of people. Be content with what Allah has allotted you and you will be the richest of people. Be good to your neighbor and you will be a true believer. Love for people what you love for yourself and you will be a true Muslim. Do not laugh too much, for excessive laughter deadens the heart."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا جعفر يعني ابن سليمان عن أبي طارق عن الحسن
قال رسول الله ﷺ من يأخذ من أمتي خمس خصال فيعمل بهن أو يعلمهن من يعمل بهن قال قلت أنا يا رسول الله قال فأخذ بيدي فعدهن فيها ثم قال اتق المحارم تكن أعبد الناس وارض بما قسم الله لك تكن أغنى الناس وأحسن إلى جارك تكن مؤمنا وأحب للناس ما تحب لنفسك تكن مسلما ولا تكثر الضحك فإن كثرة الضحك تميت القلب
