Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "None spoke in the cradle except three, Isa son of Maryam , a boy in the time of Jurayj, and another boy."Then he mentioned the hadith and said, "As for Jurayj, he was a devout worshipper among the Children of Israil, and he had a mother. One day he was praying when his mother longed for him and called out, 'Jurayj!' He said, 'My Lord, is the prayer better, or shall I go to my mother?' Then he continued praying.She called him again, and he said the same thing, then continued praying. She called him a third time, and he said the same and kept praying. This grieved his mother, and she said, 'O Allah, show Jurayj the prostitutes.' Then he went up to his hermitage. There was a prostitute among the Children of Israil..."Then he mentioned the rest of it similarly.

عن أبي هريرة

عن النبي ﷺ قال لم يتكلم في المهد إلا ثلاثة عيسى ابن مريم عليه السلام وصبي كان في زمان جريج وصبي آخر فذكر الحديث قال وأما جريج فكان رجلا عابدا في بني إسرائيل وكانت له أم وكان يوما يصلي إذ اشتاقت إليه أمه فقالت يا جريج فقال يا رب الصلاة خير أم أمي آتيها ثم صلى ودعته فقال مثل ذلك ثم دعته فقال مثل ذلك وصلى فاشتد على أمه وقالت اللهم أر جريجا المومسات ثم صعد صومعة له وكانت زانية من بني إسرائيل فذكر نحوه
