The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to his companions while they were debating about the tree mentioned in the verse, "like an evil tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, having no stability" [Ibrahim 14:26]. They said, "We think it is the truffle."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Truffles are from the manna, and their water is a cure for the eye. The ajwa date is from Paradise, and it is a cure for poison."

خرج رسول الله ﷺ على أصحابه وهم يتنازعون في هذه الشجرة التي اجتثت من فوق الأرض ما لها من قرار فقالوا نحسبها الكمأة فقال رسول الله ﷺ الكمأة من المن وماؤها شفاء للعين والعجوة من الجنة وهي شفاء من السم
