I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Many an oath does not ascend to Allah from this very spot." Later I saw the slave-traders conducting their business there.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن سفيان عن عاصم عن عبيد مولى أبي رهم

Its chain of transmission is daif, due to the weakness of Aasim, who is Ibn Ubaydullah, and we have already explained his weakness at 5229. I have not found this hadith in any other source, to the point that Hafiz bin Kathir did not mention it in Jami al-Masanid.The nakhkhasun, with a dotted kha, from nakhasah with the nun either vowelled with a kasrah or a fathah. The nakhkhas is a seller of animals, so called because he prods them to make them lively. The seller of slaves may also be called a nakhkhas, as stated in Lisan.
