Abu Hurairah reported,
I truly hope that, if my life is prolonged, I will live to meet Isa, son of Maryam 
. But if death comes to me sooner, then whoever meets him should convey my greetings of peace to him.

Sahihحدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا شعبة عن محمد بن زياد
عن أبي هريرة قال
إني لأرجو إن طالت بي حياة أن أدرك عيسى ابن مريم عليه السلام فإن عجل بي موت فمن أدركه فليقرئه مني السلام
Its isnad is sahih, and it repeats what came before it, but this one has a stopped wording, while the raising of it to the Prophet is an addition from a trustworthy narrator. Its being stopped does not harm it, since it is effectively raised to the Prophet's level, for it concerns unseen matters that cannot be known through personal opinion or analogy, but only through the report of the truthful one who is trusted, the teacher of good, the one who conveys from his Lord 
, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
