The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, I will surely drive away some men from you away from my Pool just as a stray camel is driven away from the watering place."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن محمد بن زياد قال سمعت
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال والذي نفس محمد بيده لأذودن رجالا منكم عن حوضي كما تذاد الغريبة من الإبل عن الحوض
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Muhammad bin Ziyad is the Qurashi, the freedman of the Jumah clan, whose reliability was previously established at 7122. The hadith appears in Jami al-Masanid wal-Sunan, 338, drawn from this passage. It will also come at 9856 from Hajjaj, from Shubah, with the same wording, and will also come at 10031, from the narration of Hammad bin Salama, from Muhammad bin Ziyad, from Abu Hurairah. Bukhari related it, 5:33 of Fath, from Muhammad bin Bashshar, from Ghundar, who is Muhammad bin Jafar, Ahmad's teacher here, with this same chain.
