I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at a funeral. When I walked, he would get ahead of me, so I would jog and overtake him. A man beside me turned and said, "The earth is folded up for him, the intimate friend of Ibrahim."
Its isnad is sahih. This has already appeared with this same isnad at 7497, but there it was noted that the statement "the earth will be folded up for him" and so on are the words of Abu Hurairah, whereas here they are the words of the man who was sitting beside him. We explained this fully, along with its sourcing, at that earlier point. Here in ح we find "and the intimate friend of Ibrahim," as it appeared there, and we corrected it based on Jami al-Masanid wal-Sunan 7:219. It likewise appeared this way in ك, but the copyist corrected it to "and the intimate friend," which is the correct reading. In م it appears as it does in ح, and in its margin is written "Allah and the intimate friend," which is the correct reading, as we mentioned just above.
