The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Sayhan, Jayhan, the Nile, and the Furat are all rivers of Paradise."
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا عبيد الله عن خبيب بن عبد الرحمن عن حفص بن عاصم
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال سيحان وجيحان والنيل والفرات كل من أنهار الجنة
Its isnad is sahih. It is in Jami al-Masanid 11:7, and Muslim reported it, 2:351, through Ibn Numayr and others, all of them from Ubaydullah, with this isnad. Something similar has already passed at 7535, from the narration of Abu Salama from Abu Hurairah, and we noted this there. In Jami al-Masanid it reads "inna Sayhan," but the word "inna" was not mentioned in the original manuscripts, nor was it mentioned in Sahih Muslim. As for his wording "kull," in H it reads "wa kull," the "waw" being an insertion here. It is mentioned in M with a mark over it as though it were a variant reading, or as though it were meant to be deleted. It is not mentioned in K, nor in Jami al-Masanid, nor in Sahih Muslim.
