The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Five things are from the natural disposition: shaving the pubic hair, circumcision, trimming the moustache, plucking the underarm hair, and clipping the nails."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا معمر عن الزهري عن ابن المسيب
قال رسول الله ﷺ خمس من الفطرة الاستحداد والختان وقص الشارب ونتف الإبط وتقليم الأظفار
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it, 10:282–293, 295, and Muslim, 1:87, both through Zuhri from Ibn Musayab, with similar wording. Hafiz explained it in the first location with a thorough and detailed commentary. Hafiz also noted that it was related by Abu Awana and Abu Naeem in their two mustakhrajs, and by Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, and Nasai. It has already passed with two other chains from Zuhri, 7139 and 7260, and we noted at the first of them that it was related by the whole group.
