The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever commits a sin in this world and is punished for it, Allah is too just to repeat the punishment upon His servant. And whoever commits a sin in this world and Allah conceals it for him and pardons him, Allah is too generous to return to something He has already pardoned."
حدثنا حجاج قال يونس بن أبي إسحاق أخبرني عن أبي إسحاق عن أبي جحيفة
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أذنب في الدنيا ذنبا فعوقب به فالله أعدل من أن يثني عقوبته على عبده ومن أذنب ذنبا في الدنيا فستر الله عليه وعفا عنه فالله أكرم من أن يعود في شيء قد عفا عنه
