The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you rises at night, let him begin his prayer with two light rakahs."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا هشام عن محمد قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا قام أحدكم من الليل فليستفتح صلاته بركعتين خفيفتين
Its isnad is sahih. Hisham is Ibn Hassan. Muhammad is Ibn Sirin. The hadith is a repeat of 7176.
