The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you performs ablution, let him put water into his nose and then blow it out. And whoever uses stones to clean himself, let him use an odd number."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا مالك عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
عن النبي ﷺ قال إذا توضأ أحدكم فليجعل في أنفه ثم ليستنثر ومن استجمر فليوتر
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It is found in Muwatta, p. 19, from Abu Zinad, by this same chain. Part of it has already appeared at 7298, from the narration of Ibn Uyayna, from Abu Zinad. It has also appeared at length and in abridged form, with the same meaning, repeatedly, through various routes, the most recent being 7716.
