Its isnad is sahih. Nafi, the mawla of Abu Qatada, is Nafi bin Abbas, also said to be Ibn Ayyash, Abu Muhammad Aqra. He was actually the mawla of Uqayla bint Talq Ghifariyya, and was not truly the mawla of Abu Qatada, he was only called that because he stayed constantly in his company. He was a trustworthy tabii who narrated few hadiths.The Hafiz mentioned in Fath al-Bari that this is the only hadith of his found in Bukhari. Bukhari gave his biography in Kabir, 4/2:83, as did Ibn Saad, 5:223, and Ibn Abu Hatim in Jarh wa Tadil, 4/1:453.Bukhari related this hadith, 6:357–358, through Layth, from Yunus, from Zuhri, with this isnad, with the wording, "How will you be when Ibn Maryam descends among you, while your imam is one of you?"Muslim likewise related it, 1:54, through Ibn Wahb, from Yunus, exactly matching Bukhari's version. He then related it through Zuhri's nephew, from his uncle, with the wording, "How will you be when Ibn Maryam descends among you and leads you in prayer?" It appears from this that Zuhri narrated it in both forms, and that Mamar heard both versions from him, and so recounted both in this narration, the narration found in the Musnad. So the one who says here, "or he said, your imam is one of you," is Mamar, recounting Zuhri's statement in its two versions. He does not mean to express doubt as to which of the two he actually heard from Zuhri.Muslim then related it, with further explanation, through Walid bin Muslim, from Ibn Abu Dhib, from Zuhri, with the wording, "How will you be when Ibn Maryam descends among you and leads you in prayer, one of your own?" He added afterward, quoting Walid bin Muslim, "I said to Ibn Abu Dhib, 'Uzai told us, from Zuhri, from Nafi, from Abu Hurairah, that your imam is one of you.' Ibn Abu Dhib said, 'Do you know what it means for him to lead you in prayer as one of your own?' I said, 'Tell me.' He said, 'He will lead you in prayer according to the Book of your Lord and the sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ.'"The Hafiz gave a thorough explanation of this in Fath al-Bari, 6:357–359.
