Abu Bakr bin Abdul-Rahman reported,

Abu Hurairah used to lead us in prayer. He would say the takbir when he stood, when he went into ruku, when he intended to go down into sujud after rising from ruku, when he intended to go down again after rising from sujud, when he sat, and when he intended to rise after the first two units. He would say the takbir in the same way in the last two units. Then, when he had given the closing salutation, he said, "By Him in whose hand my soul rests, I am the closest of you in resemblance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ," meaning in his prayer. This remained his manner of praying until he departed from this world.
