The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no evil omen, and the best of it is the good omen." He then mentioned something similar.

Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Wahid bin Ziyad Abdi is trustworthy and reliable, one of Ahmad's teachers, and he sometimes narrates from him through an intermediary, as is the case here. His trustworthiness was already established at 1317, but his name was given in the commentary as Abdul-Rahman, which is a printing error. We corrected it in the corrections at 159. We add here that Ibn Abu Hatim gave his biography at 3/1/20-21. This hadith is a repetition of the one before it.
