The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever peers into people's home without their permission, it becomes lawful for them to put out his eye."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا معمر عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ من اطلع على قوم في بيتهم بغير إذنهم فقد حل لهم أن يفقئوا عينه
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim related it (2:173-174) through Jareer, from Suhayl, with the same wording. Its meaning has already appeared at 7311, through the narration of Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah. See also Muntaqa 3929-3931. As for his saying "ayna," in [m] it appears as "Uyayna" in the dual form, but what is given here is correct, as confirmed in [h], [k], the marginal copy of [m], Sahih Muslim, and Muntaqa.
