The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a mouse that falls into clarified butter. He said, "If it is solid, throw it away along with what surrounds it. If it is liquid, do not go near it."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب
سئل النبي ﷺ عن الفأرة تقع في السمن فقال إن كان جامدا فألقوها وما حولها وإن كان مائعا فلا تقربوه
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 7177. We have already pointed this out there.7591m - Abdul-Razzaq said, Abdul-Rahman bin Buwaydhih told me that Mamar used to relate it with this isnad, and would say, The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said...Sahih (7591m). Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of the preceding hadith with the same isnad, as a confirmation from Abdul-Razzaq that he heard it from Mamar in this manner, from Zuhri, from Ibn Musayab, from Abu Hurairah, as a raised hadith, in that he also heard it in the same way from Abdul-Rahman bin Buwaydhih, from Mamar, just as he himself had heard it from Mamar. This does not rule out that Mamar also heard it from Ayub, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurairah, as will come in the isnad that follows here. This is meant to prevent anyone from imagining, or supposing, that one of the two isnads is mistaken, or that one of them constitutes a flaw in the other.The name of Abdul-Rahman bin Buwaydhih is recorded in the three original manuscripts here as Abu Abdul-Rahman bin Buwaydhih, with the word Abu added, which would make it a kunya for him rather than a name. This is an error made by some of the copyists. It appears to be an old error found in some copies of the Musnad, for Hafiz said in Tajil 498-499, in the section on kunyas, after quoting Husayni's statement that he was unknown, "This is what Husayni said, but he erred in this. Rather, it is Abdul-Rahman, a name, not a kunya." For this reason the word Abu has been removed, with certainty that it was an error.He is Abdul-Rahman bin Buwaydhih Sanani, also known as Abdul-Rahman bin Umar bin Buwaydhih. He has a biography in Tahdhib. Ibn Abu Hatim gave him a biography twice, under both names, 2/2/217 and 213, and he related from Athram, who said, "Abu Abdullah," meaning Ibn Hanbal, "mentioned Abdul-Rahman bin Buwaydhih and praised him well." This is sufficient as validation of him.7591m2 - He said, Mamar narrated to us, from Ayub, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurairah. Wudu, with the waw vowelled fatha, means the water used for wudu.Sahih (7591m2). Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of what preceded it, coming through another route. Ahmad related it from Abdul-Razzaq, from Abdul-Rahman bin Buwaydhih, from Mamar, from Ayub, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurairah, as is apparent from the wording of the isnad.
