The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Saying 'SubhanAllah' is for men, and clapping is for women."
حدثنا يعلى حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ التسبيح للرجال والتصفيق للنساء
Its isnad is sahih. It is a repetition of 7283, from other routes, where it says "tasfih" instead of "tasfiq," though the two mean the same thing. Muslim also narrated it, 1:126, through several chains from Amash, but he did not give its wording, referring instead to what came before it.
