The Messenger of Allah ﷺ continued fasting through the night without breaking it, and he forbade them from doing the same. He said, "I am not like you. I spend the night with my Lord, who feeds me and gives me drink."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح
واصل رسول الله ﷺ فنهاهم وقال إني لست مثلكم إني أظل عند ربي فيطعمني ويسقيني
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim narrated it (1:304) through Ibn Numayr from Amash, but he did not give its wording, referring instead to the narrations before it. It has already appeared, at length and in brief, through other routes at 7162, 7222, 72268.
