The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Which charity is best?"He replied, "I shall tell you. It is that you give in charity while you are healthy and tight-fisted, hoping to live long and fearing poverty. Do not delay until your soul reaches your throat, and then you say, 'So much for so-and-so, and so much for so-and-so,' when by then it already belongs to someone else."

قال سئل رسول الله ﷺ أي الصدقة أفضل قال لتنبأن أن تتصدق وأنت صحيح شحيح تأمل البقاء وتخاف الفقر ولا تمهل حتى إذا بلغت الحلقوم قلت لفلان كذا ولفلان كذا ألا وقد كان لفلان
