I prostrated with the Prophet ﷺ during the recitation of "When the sky is split asunder" [Inshiqaq 84:1] and "Recite in the name of your Lord" [Alaq 96:1].
حدثنا سفيان أخبرنا أيوب بن موسى عن عطاء بن ميناء سمعت
سجدت مع النبي ﷺ في إذا السماء انشقت واقرأ باسم ربك
Its isnad is sahih. Ata bin Mina is the freed slave of Ibn Abu Dhubab, the Madinan, and he is a trustworthy tabii. Ibn Saad mentioned him among the second generation of the people of Makkah, 5:351, and Ibn Abu Hatim gave his biography in Jarh wa Tadil, 3/1/336, and he narrated from Sufyan bin Uyayna, who said, "Ata bin Mina is among the well known companions of Abu Hurairah."Regarding Mina, I explained in my commentary on Tirmidhi, number [2573: 462-463], that it is declinable, because its final alif is not the alif of feminization, but rather it comes from the root wana.The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 1:161, and by Tirmidhi, 1:398, number 573, with our commentary, both of them by way of Sufyan bin Uyayna, with this isnad. Its meaning has already passed in similar form at 7365, by another route, also from the narration of Sufyan. See also 7140.
