The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If I were to appoint a successor without consultation, I would have appointed Ibn Umm Abd."
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن الحارث
قال رسول الله ﷺ لو استخلفت أحدا عن غير مشورة لاستخلفت ابن أم عبد
Its isnad is daif because of Harith, and it is a repeat of 566. Its text, however, is sahih.
