Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Were it not that I would cause hardship to my believing community, I would never stay behind from any military expedition. But I do not have the means to provide them with mounts, nor do they wish to remain behind without me."
حدثنا سفيان عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
يبلغ به النبي ﷺ لولا أن أشق على أمتي المؤمنين ما تخلفت عن سرية ليس عندي ما أحملهم عليه ولا يتخلفون عني
