Its isnad is sahih, and this is an abridged version of a longer hadith. It appears that Ahmad heard only this much of it when it was read out before Sufyan. That is why he will later narrate it in full at 7856, from Husayn bin Muhammad, from Sufyan, with this same isnad, and its wording there is, "Do you see my qiblah here? Nothing of your humility and bowing is hidden from me."Something similar in meaning has already appeared at 7198, through the narration of Ibn Abu Dhib, from Ajlan, from Abu Hurairah. There we noted its sourcing, and pointed to some of its coming paths of transmission through various routes, in the Musnad.
