Its isnad is sahih. Muslim narrated it 1:444-445, and Tirmidhi 2:231, both through the route of Sufyan from Zuhri from Ibn Musayab from Abu Hurairah. Tirmidhi said, the hadith of Abu Hurairah is a hasan sahih hadith. Its meaning has already passed within a lengthy hadith, 7247, from Sufyan from Zuhri from Ibn Musayab.
