The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that for the nose, if it is severed entirely, the full blood-money is due, and if only its tip is cut off, half the blood-money is due. For the eye, half the blood-money is due. For the hand, half the blood-money is due. For the foot, half the blood-money is due.He also ruled that the male relatives on a woman's father's side bear her blood-money obligation, whoever they may be, but they do not inherit anything from her except what remains after her direct heirs receive their shares. If she is killed, her blood-money is divided among her heirs, and they may demand the execution of her killer.He further ruled that the blood-money for the People of the Book, namely the Jews and the Christians, is half the blood-money of the Muslims.

أن رسول الله ﷺ قضى في الأنف إذا جدع كله الدية كاملة وإذا جدعت أرنبته نصف الدية وفي العين نصف الدية وفي اليد نصف الدية وفي الرجل نصف الدية وقضى أن يعقل عن المرأة عصبتها من كانوا ولا يرثوا منها إلا ما فضل عن ورثتها وإن قتلت فعقلها بين ورثتها وهم يقتلون قاتلها وقضى أن عقل أهل الكتاب نصف عقل المسلمين وهم اليهود والنصارى
