The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever is killed defending his property is a martyr."
حدثنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم حدثنا عبد العزيز يعني ابن المطلب المخزومي عن عبد العزيز
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال من قتل دون ماله فهو شهيد
Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Aziz bin Muttalib Makhzumi is Abdul-Aziz bin Muttalib bin Abdullah bin Hantab. Abdul-Aziz bin Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, his reliability was already established at 4781. The addition [Ibn Umar bin Abdul-Aziz] is confirmed in K and M. It is not mentioned in H, and it appears that its omission is merely a printing error. The hadith has already been given repeatedly with sahih chains, from different angles, including 6522 and 7014. See also 6913.
