The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the people in the year of the Conquest from the steps of the Kaabah. After praising Allah, among the things he said was, "People, every alliance made in the time of ignorance is only strengthened by Islam. There is no new alliance in Islam, and no migration after the Conquest. The Muslims are one hand against all others. Their blood is equal in value. A believer is not to be killed in retaliation for a disbeliever. The blood-money of a disbeliever is half the blood-money of a Muslim. There is no shighar marriage in Islam, no janab, and no jalab. Their charity is to be collected at their dwellings. The protection granted by the lowest of the Muslims is binding upon them all, and the one furthest among them may grant it on their behalf."Then he descended.Husayn said that he heard this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
Its chain is sahih, and its meanings have recurred previously, both at length and in brief, except for his saying, "There is no shighar in Islam." Its meaning appears in 6681, 6692, 6716, 6730, 6917, 6933, 6970, 6942. As for his saying, "There is no shighar in Islam," Haythami mentioned it in Majma al-Zawaid 4:226, with the wording, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded, there is no shighar in Islam." He said, "Ahmad narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Ibn Ishaq, who has explicitly stated that he heard it directly." Hafiz Haythami is pointing here to what will come with two chains through Ibn Ishaq, 7026, 7027, but he failed to point to this chain, which does not contain Ibn Ishaq. The prohibition of shighar has also occurred previously in the hadith of Abdullah bin Umar bin Khattab, 4526, 5692, 4918, 5289, 5654.
