By Allah, they claimed that Abdullah bin Amr testified that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If someone drinks wine, flog him. Then if he drinks again, flog him. Then if he drinks again, flog him. But if he does so a fourth time, strike off his neck."Abdullah bin Amr used to say, "Bring me a man who has been flogged four times for drinking wine, and I guarantee you that I will strike off his neck."
قال حدثنا عبد الملك بن عمرو حدثنا قرة
والله لقد زعموا أن عبد الله بن عمرو شهد بها على رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال إن شرب الخمر فاجلدوه ثم إن شرب فاجلدوه ثم إن شرب فاجلدوه فإذا كان عند الرابعة فاضربوا عنقه قال فكان عبد الله بن عمرو يقول ائتوني برجل قد جلد في الخمر أربع مرات فإن لكم علي أن أضرب عنقه
