The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The time for the noon prayer is when the sun has passed its zenith and a man's shadow equals his height, as long as the time for the afternoon prayer has not yet come. The time for the afternoon prayer lasts as long as the sun has not turned yellow. The time for the sunset prayer lasts as long as the twilight has not disappeared. The time for the evening prayer lasts until the middle of the night. The time for the dawn prayer is from the break of dawn as long as the sun has not yet risen. When the sun rises, hold back from prayer, for it rises between the two horns of Satan."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال وقت الظهر إذا زالت الشمس وكان ظل الرجل كطوله ما لم يحضر العصر ووقت العصر ما لم تصفر الشمس ووقت صلاة المغرب ما لم يغرب الشفق ووقت صلاة العشاء إلى نصف الليل الأوسط ووقت صلاة الصبح من طلوع الفجر ما لم تطلع الشمس فإذا طلعت الشمس فأمسك عن الصلاة فإنها تطلع بين قرني شيطان
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Ayub is Yahya bin Malik Azdi Maraghi, whose reliability was established earlier at 6750. Muslim narrated the hadith at 1:170 from Ahmad bin Ibrahim Dawraqi from Abdul-Samad, with this isnad. He also narrated it before and after this, in similar wording, with other chains of transmission. Abu Dawud narrated it at 296/1:154, Awn al-Mabud, through the route of Shubah from Qatada, in similar wording. Nasai likewise narrated it at 1:90-91, through the route of Shubah.
