Ati said, I entered the mosque of Iliya and prayed two rak'ahs by one of its pillars. A man came and prayed near me, and the people gathered around him. It turned out to be Abdullah bin Amr bin As.A messenger from Yazid bin Muawiya came to him, saying, "Respond to the summons."Abdullah said, "This man forbids me from narrating to you, just as his father used to forbid me. But I heard your Prophet ﷺ say, 'I seek refuge in You from a soul that is never satisfied, from a heart that does not feel humility, from a supplication that is not heard, and from knowledge that does not benefit. I seek refuge in You from these four.'"

دخلت مسجد إيلياء فصليت إلى سارية ركعتين فجاء رجل فصلى قريبا مني فمال إليه الناس فإذا هو عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص فجاءه رسول يزيد بن معاوية أن أجب قال هذا ينهاني أن أحدثكم كما كان أبوه ينهاني وإني سمعت نبيكم ﷺ يقول أعوذ بك من نفس لا تشبع ومن قلب لا يخشع ومن دعاء لا يسمع ومن علم لا ينفع أعوذ بك من هؤلاء الأربع
