The Prophet ﷺ said, "Beware of injustice, for injustice will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection. Beware of obscenity, for Allah loves neither obscenity nor vulgarity. Beware of stinginess, for it destroyed those who came before you. It commanded them to sever ties and they severed them, it commanded them to be miserly and they were miserly, and it commanded them to commit wickedness and they did so."A man stood up and asked, "Messenger of Allah, which form of Islam is best?"He replied, "That the Muslims are safe from your tongue and your hand."That same man, or another, asked, "Messenger of Allah, which migration is best?"He answered, "That you abandon what Allah has forbidden. Migration is of two kinds, the migration of the city-dweller and the migration of the bedouin. As for the bedouin, he obeys when he is commanded and responds when he is summoned. As for the city-dweller, his trial is greater and his reward is greater."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن عمرو بن مرة عن عبد الله بن الحارث عن أبي كثير
عن النبي ﷺ قال إياكم والظلم فإن الظلم ظلمات يوم القيامة وإياكم والفحش فإن الله لا يحب الفحش ولا التفحش وإياكم والشح فإنه أهلك من كان قبلكم أمرهم بالقطيعة فقطعوا وبالبخل فبخلوا وبالفجور ففجروا قال فقام رجل فقال يا رسول الله أي الإسلام أفضل أن يسلم المسلمون من لسانك ويدك قال ذلك الرجل أو رجل آخر يا رسول الله فأي الهجرة أفضل قال أن تهجر ما كره الله والهجرة هجرتان هجرة الحاضر والبادي فأما البادي فيطيع إذا أمر ويجيب إذا دعي وأما الحاضر فأعظمهما بلية وأعظمهما أجرا
