The Prophet ﷺ found a date beside him during the night and ate it, but he could not sleep that night. One of his wives asked, "Messenger of Allah, you were restless last night."He replied, "I found a date beside me and ate it. We had some dates from the charity dates with us, and I feared it might have been one of them."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا أسامة بن زيد
أن النبي ﷺ وجد تحت جنبه تمرة من الليل فأكلها فلم ينم تلك الليلة فقال بعض نسائه يا رسول الله أرقت البارحة قال إني وجدت تحت جنبي تمرة فأكلتها وكان عندنا تمر من تمر الصدقة فخشيت أن تكون منه
