A group of men from Banu Hashim entered upon Asma bint Umays while Abu Bakr was her husband at that time. Abu Bakr came in and saw them, and he disliked what he saw. He mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saying, "I saw nothing but good."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has indeed cleared her of any wrongdoing."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood upon the pulpit and declared, "After this day of mine, no man may enter upon a woman whose husband is absent unless he is accompanied by one or two other men."
حدثنا حسن حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثنا دراج عن عبد الرحمن بن جبير أن
أن نفرا من بني هاشم دخلوا على أسماء بنت عميس فدخل أبو بكر وهي تحته يومئذ فرآهم فكره ذلك فذكر ذلك لرسول الله ﷺ وقال لم أر إلا خيرا فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله قد برأها من ذلك ثم قام رسول الله ﷺ على المنبر فقال لا يدخل رجل بعد يومي هذا على مغيبة إلا ومعه رجل أو اثنان
