He heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Shall I tell you who among you is the most beloved to me and the closest to me in seating on the Day of Resurrection?"The people remained silent, so he repeated it two or three times.The people then said, "Yes, Messenger of Allah."He said, "The one with the best character among you."
حدثنا يونس وأبو سلمة الخزاعي قالا حدثنا ليث عن يزيد يعني ابن الهاد
أنه سمع النبي ﷺ يقول ألا أخبركم بأحبكم إلي وأقربكم مني مجلسا يوم القيامة فسكت القوم فأعادها مرتين أو ثلاثا قال القوم نعم يا رسول الله قال أحسنكم خلقا
